Placements:
Over the years BREADLINE has helped people of all ages find
placements in Moldova and in future, there may also be opportunities
in Siberia
For all concerned placement opportunities,
no matter how long or short have been both life changing and
faith building. Some examples of placements in recent years
have included working as a member of Agape’s community
team in Chisinau, Moldova, helping with the day to day running
of the charity (ie, translation, publicity, planning) and
involvement in projects such as after school clubs/activities/summer
camps and the charities Community Centre for ‘Children
at Risk’ in Ialoveni. Other placements have been working
with churches in rural areas and helping the local Pastors
with a range of activities for adults as well as children.
Some of our placements have gone on to become missionaries
in other countries and some have remained to be missionaries
in Moldova. The Moldovan people are very hospitable and kind
to visitors. It’s a great blessing to work alongside
so many brothers and sisters who have such a passion for Christ
and who genuinely put their faith into action. Its also intriguing
to work in a country that so few know about and yet where
so much is being done by the local church. |

Church Partnerships:
What is God doing in your church and can we help? Building links
and partnerships with churches overseas can be a great blessing
for both parties. Faith is enriched and built up as we serve
others, mutual lessons are learned as we share gifts and expertise,
and lifelong friendships are forged. We have considerable experience
in facilitating links between churches in the UK and our church
partners overseas. If your church is interested in starting
a partnership with a church in Moldova or Siberia then please
do contact us. We will gladly help you to find the right partner
and facilitate your partnership to the point where you are confident
you can continue on your own. |

School Links: We have been greatly encouraged
by the success of our school links programme, which began
when we helped Abingdon School to link with No 4 School
in Ialoveni, Moldova in 2001. Each summer, a party of 5th
and 6th formers, from Abingdon School visit Ialoveni where
they are accommodated by local people and become fully involved
in community and school projects organised by our ex partner
Agape. There remain many more opportunities for schools
in the UK to be linked with schools and communities in both
Moldova and Siberia. If your school is seeking an exciting
